Information used by Sidecar

Sidecar processes the supplier pages, images and documents you choose to submit, together with the context needed to organize and review their lines. Account and shop details support sign-in, membership and permissions.

Requests to join the beta

When you request access, we use your name, work email, shop, team size and optional supplier details to review the request and reply. These contact details and free text are kept for 90 days from the last submission or founder-reviewed change.

Accounts and connections

Clerk provides account authentication and required account communications. Shop software connections are business- and location-scoped. Connection keys are encrypted and are not shown again after saving. Account, invitation and audit records have separate retention rules.

Recent work and temporary recovery

Recent work is kept for 90 days after its last edit or send. Views do not reset that period. Temporary original and derived document media and recoverable finalized results are kept for 30 minutes from finalization.

Optional diagnostic recording

Diagnostic recording is a personal opt-in and is separate from submitting a scan or document. Diagnostic recordings and copies expire 7 days from their original capture. Turning recording off stops new capture without changing existing expiry dates.

Sidecar support and authorized investigators may use permitted diagnostic material to investigate defects and improve extraction through the verified private processing route. This does not authorize indefinite source-corpus retention.

Support and manual data requests

Support is handled by email during the beta. Contacting support does not automatically attach source material or diagnostics. Business-owner export and deletion requests require confirmation of authority and scope; completion is confirmed only after the result is checked.

This review draft reflects the selected beta practices. The complete policy, service-provider disclosures, applicable rights and legal details still require approval before publication. It is not an approved legal version for account acceptance.
